THE BETTER HOME HEALTH CARE AGENCY, INC., a leader in the home health care industry, services Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan and Westchester. Established in 1988, it is a licensed agency that is accredited by Joint Commission and licensed by the New York State Department of Health. The office is open six days a week and when closed, a medical coordinator, registered nurse, and an administrator are always on call. Our clinical supervisors are experienced registered nurses and are available seven days per week, 24 hours per day.

Better Home Health Care Executive Team

Better Home Health Care is committed to developing innovative programs and expanding services, such as providing transportation for our nurses and aides to enable us to serve hard-to-reach areas and a shopping service for our patients who are unable to shop for themselves. Our goal is to enable the physically challenged, the elderly in need, the patient recovering from an illness or accident, and others confined to their homes to maintain their independence.

Better Home Health Care is an approved training center for Home Health Aides and Personal Care Aides. Education of our entire staff is constant through our special inservice courses. Our commitment to excellence continues through our comprehensive curriculum, skills validation, and mandatory continuing education program. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Infection Control courses are also offered.

Better Home Health Care, with its exemplary, professional nursing staff, has been selected to teach Transition to Home Health Care for the Registered Nurse Training Programs at Nassau Community College and Molloy College, as well as the BOCES' Licensed Practical Nurse program. Our OBQI - Outcome Based Quality Improvement system led to our selection as an OASIS participant.
